Many phones have high-resolution sensors that shoot pixel-binned photos, including the new iPhone 15 series. However, most phones pixel-bin photos to 12MP, while the default setting on the new iPhones is 24MP. This means that the new iPhones can produce much higher resolution pictures while retaining more details compared to 12MP photos.

The Apple iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max boast the A17 Pro chip, which is the first chip in the industry to utilize the 3nm process.
